PCTE Institute of Management & Technology - Established in year 1999, the institute has surely made a mark with its industry-oriented management programs. The two-year course is affiliated to Punjab Technical University Jalandhar. Yearly intake is 120 and 60 for International Business specialization. Fee charged is close to 80,000 p.a. and admission is granted through MAT & MET (conducted jointly by PTU, GNDU and Punjabi University).

University Business School - Formerly known as Department of Commerce & Business Management, UBS is located in the heart of Punjab - Chandigarh. Apart from the regular MBA degree, other specializations available are, Biotechnology, International Business (IB) & Human Resources (HR). Intake for each of these management programs (general) is 16, 37 & 37 respectively. No of seats, available for general MBA is 74. Executive MBA is also offered with a total 39 seats for general candidates. Admission is based on CAT score, GD & PI.

Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology - Ranking 3rd in this list, the 14 year old institute has been ranked among India’s best B-schools. It is affiliated to PTU and considers Management Entrance Test (MET) score. Seats are allotted through a counseling process based on merit. Total tuition fee for the two year MBA is Rs. 1,63,000 (approximately).

Lovely University:- Lovely University, popularly known as LPU, was established in 1961 in Jalandhar. Even though the university has gained a reputation for its distance programs, regular ones are also quite excellent in terms of value for money. Amity Global Business School â€" The 18 year old establishment is surely touching all major cities of the country. The MBA program at Amity GBS requires a minimum of 50% score in graduation as well as class XII. Admission will be granted on the basis of the total score calculated by adding individual scores in the Qualifying Exam, English Essay and PI. Collective fee for 2 years would be close to Rs. 1,75,000.
